Our third stop was at Chimney Rock. Along with whale migration season, it was also sea lion and elephant seal breeding season, so we decided to hike down to where they were. The weather had cleared up, so it was a good idea right?...
This was what we found at the end of our hike.
Then the hail and rain moved in again! This was actually taken when we got back to the van, but you get the picture.
Joe had to make a sling out of the boys coats, so he could run with Luke. And we ended up covering the boys with our coats. We were worried about them losing it with a mile back to the van. I was left with Jake again. It was a lot of fast walking, with me carrying him and running, then making him walk again. I realized that he is getting really tall...and I'm really out of shape.
