President's day weekend gave our family the opportunity to go out of town! I had four days off and Joe actually had Friday off, so we headed to the coast. Our first stop was Point Reyes and the earthquake trail. After about two hours in the car, the boys were anxious to get out.
Here is Luke enjoying running around. I was lucky to get him to stand still for a picture.
Of course, the boys took the chance to climb a tree.
Here is Luke climbing the stairs between the fences that show how much the earth moved during the 1906 earthquake. Along the San Andreas Fault the earth shifted an amazing 16 feet.
No trip is complete without a sword fight.

Looks like fun! It reminded me of how much I would like to get away for a day trip!
