Joe's 30th Roast

When there is an important birthday in the family, we all get together to make fun of the poor person for aging.  In March, it was Joe's turn.  After having a whole week of wonderful birthday presents given by yours truly, it was time to be brutal.  We had fun.  Joe is, unfortunately for him, an easy target.  He was a good sport about it.  Only a couple of gifts got to him.  Here are some of the more appropriate pictures from the event.

St. Patrick's Day

Jake has really been into the whole leprechaun thing since last year and I've never really done anything until this year for St. Patrick's Day.  This year the leprechauns came and left a trail of gold to the kitchen where there was a nice pot of gold (reeses peanut butter cups) waiting for the boys.  There were also streamers and balloons and a little bit of green water in the toilet bowl.  

For dinner, the boys came donned in their finest head pieces and we feasted on corned beef.  I also reaffirmed that I'm not a fan of corned beef, so I don't know if we'll do that again, but it was a lot of fun for me and the boys.
