Desirae's Tree

Every year on the 16th we make it out to the cemetery to decorate a Christmas tree at my sister's grave site. This year makes it eight years and boy how time flies. That's both a good and a bad thing. This is a fun family tradition for all of us. It gives us a chance to visit and laugh with each other, while doing something flashy, which is how my sister would like it.

Here are Joe and Josh trying once again to get the tree straight and secure.

Jacob helping with the decorations.

Luke took to wandering around the cemetery grounds this year.

Me helping Luke.

Joe being his goofy self.

Krista and Jillian.

The finished product, which can be seen from the street. My uncle Rob goes out pretty much every night and hooks up the battery, because yes, people actually steal things from the cemetery.

Super sweet! That's great that you guys made it a family tradition. You know, I remember hearing about your sister at our HS, obviously not knowing you at the time, your sis and I were in the same class year, and feeling so much for her family (which happened to be yours). SO thankful we have the knowledge of the Gospel and Temple ordinances to know you're gonna see her again. Love ya!
