Halloween

This year for Halloween, things were a little different.  First of all, it was on a Sunday.  I will spare you my view of the argument on what to do when Halloween falls on the Sabbath and just say, I took my boys trick-or-treating.  The other thing that made the night a little different was that Joe worked.  So, our first stop was Sutter Auburn, where the boys enjoyed dinner with Dad.  Joe also had it set up so they could go trick-or-treating to the different nurses station on his floor.  They were so excited.  Then we headed into Lincoln and went trick-or-treating by my Aunt Janna's house.  Luckily, she directed us to a street where they treat Halloween like Christmas.  They even decorate their houses.  We only had to go up one side of the circle and down the other and the boys had more than enough candy.  Thanks to my mom, for letting me drag her around the "help" with the kids or keep me company, and to my cousin Chelsea, for leaving a nice couch and a movie to walk with me and the kids.

My Mario, Champion Boxer, Teddy Bear, and Murse

See what I mean...there were quite a few houses that went all out.  It made the walking so much better then it has been.
