On June 12th, Jacob lost his first tooth. This thing had been loose for a while and the adult tooth was already in behind it, so I knew it was only a matter of time. That day my Aunt Rachel called to see if Jake could stay the night with his cousin Owen, so I said sure. Before I took Jake I gave him a talk about keeping his tooth safe in case it fell out. Sure, enough at about 7:00 I got a phone call that it had fallen out. Since Rachel lives about 30-45 minutes away we just had to tell Jake to keep it safe until Saturday night, because the Tooth Fairy wouldn't know that he was staying the night at someone else's house.
