Krista and Scott's Wedding

My baby sister got married!

I still can't believe it.  It was such a great day, minus the bawling session that I had with my mom in the parking lot of Olive Garden off of Sunrise.  I worked my butt off for this wedding and I wanted it to be perfect for Krista, so stress set in for both of us and went off the night before, and it wasn't pretty. However, I was able to enjoy myself at the sealing and just be grateful that one of my best friends was marrying a great guy.  The sealer said the most perfect things for my family in the session, and while it was the longest sealing I had ever been to, the time spent in the temple was amazing.

Here are some of the hundreds of shots from the wedding and reception.  My brother in law, Houston, took the pictures for Scott and Krista, and they turned out AWESOME.

Lucille's BBQ

On the night before Scott flew in for the wedding, we went out for a family dinner to Lucille's.  We love this place.  It's definitely not an everyday restaurant, because it's a tad on the pricey side.  However, it is pretty much the ONLY restaurant we can get my dad to, because he doesn't have to dress up to eat (as he puts it).

Miniature Golfing

As it gets closer and closer to my sister's wedding and her moving to Utah, we've been cramming in as many family activities as possible.  One was going to Sun Splash for some miniature golfing.  My family is pretty competitive when it comes to pretty much everything.  We don't get in your face about it, BUT we always keep score!

Sorry

Due to the gentle nudging of my dear friend Megan, I am attempting to catch up on a few months of blogging.  Since I discovered that I can change the date of my posts I'm putting them in their "real" date, so you will find new blog post as far back as March.  Good news though, I'm almost done!

Bombs Away

One day I here squealing in Jake and Luke's room and here phrases like, "Wow, that's high" and "Pile the cushions higher".  These statements don't scare me anymore, but I do get curious and wondered back into the room to find my sons jumping from their top bunk onto a huge pile of blankets.  I snapped a couple of pictures, then gave my usually warnings, "Don't break anything" (meaning body parts and furniture) and "I don't wanna go to the hospital today", then walked out.

Cousins

Noah and Levi are only five weeks apart.  Five weeks is a huge thing when it's half of your life.  However, now that the boys are getting older, they seem to be getting closer and closer in size.  My sister-in-law, Mia, always says that they are going to be best friends...BUT...from these pictures they don't look too friendly.

Everything always starts nice and calm.

Until Noah gets grabby.
And it's not a party until someone is crying!  Which for now, that someone is usually Levi.  Just look at that bottom lip.

Noah's 4 Month Stats

Our big boy is...

26.75 inches long
(93rd percentile)

16 pounds 11 ounces
(80th percentile)

And his normal sized head has now caught up to his brothers...I forget the exact measurement, but it was the 97th percentile, so it's huge whatever it is.  However, I'm just happy it's ON the chart.
I think it just got measured incorrectly at the last appointment.
Oh well, all good things come to an end sometimes!
